Wood Works
Created by a Craftsman in Murray Kentucky

In my shop, I work with various woods to create custom works. Our timeless woods include Cherry, Walnut, Cedar and Maple for items such as Charcuterie Boards, Cutting Boards, Figurines, plus smaller Custom Outdoor & Indoor Signs.
|
All of our pieces are designed for a unique gift or keepsake. No cookie cutter pieces and we can customize the verbiage on many of them.
Craftsman milling and design are our hallmarks. |

Beautiful End Grain Cutting Board. It's almost 1 and a half inches thick. Made from Maple and Walnut. It's called "end grain" since each piece of wood is turned so the end of the board is on top. That way when you use a knife to cut, the knife slips between wood fibers much like running a knife over through the bristles of a broom, instead of cutting the bristles. This allows some pretty interesting designs and a more durable board. It's 18"x11.5" and is absolutely smooth as a babies bottom and beautiful. Cost is $110 plus shipping (find these at etsy for much higher $ ).

Excellent gift idea... It's a cheese cutter. Take it to a party with custom message for the host. Top is cherry with blue epoxy inlay, Middle is maple with walnut inlay, and bottom is Walnut with gold epoxy inlay.
Cost is $35 plus shipping. |
I'm a Designer In Love Creating
Welcome to my page and wood working business.
I started my career in 1977 as a physical therapist and eventually into corporate healthcare management. My specialty in the corporate world was marketing. I left the corporate world and started my own company that did direct mail and graphic design. So I had a weird path from Healthcare to business marketing to graphic design. During the pandemic, our business slowed and I moved stronger into wood working to keep my creative passion alive. Fast forward and I have retired, closed our previous mailing business, and have gone into wood working as full-time hobby... plus enjoying life. I started with building outdoor furniture and then into computerized milling (using my graphic design background). Today, with the assist of my wife Carol Ann, I have been making beautiful and unique creations out of wood for several years. I sell locally and also to business for resale. We keep things at a slow craft pace with zero cookie cutter projects. Unique and beautiful is our passion. We hope you enjoy our creations. Dr Steve & Carol Ann Passmore |
